Let's see what went down...
March 2006 - Tamara Warner starts work in
the Citrus Heights Police Department.
March 2006 - Jo Moyo comes into the
department.
May 2006 - Moyo is promoted to sergeant two
months later.
June 2006 - Warner helps recruit Tasha
Thompson.
Later in 2006, Warner and Thompson were the
subjects of numerous false rumors alleging a sexual relationship
between the two.
Also later in 2006, Moya was reprimanded by
Police Chief Christopher Boyd for dating a subordinate officer even
though there was no department prohibition against doing so at the
time. The suit states there were numerous heterosexual
relationships between sergeants and subordinates in the department,
not resulting in disciplinary action.
2007 - The police department investigates
Warner's claims of a hostile work environment, but found them to be
without merit.
June 2007 - Warner is promoted to sergeant.
Warner's
new supervisor questions her about her personal life and accused her
of having a relationship Thompson.
June 2007 - Moya gets demoted without
reason.
August 2007 - Moya is let go from the
department, allegedly for "not passing her probation".
September 2007 - Warner and Thompson were
fired for "not meeting job performance standards".
That's a very discriminating timeline
against the Citrus Heights Poh-lees Department. We can't wait
to see how this case turns out.
